The TEDS system is made up of several modules, each one containing a multitude of task specific components. While the programs within each module have been developed to facilitate distinct procedures and operations, the integrated nature of the system allows for data to be shared, communicated, and disseminated between modules. A customer profile for example, can be entered into the sales and quotation module. Once the file has been created the data can be retrieved in dispatching, administration and so on. Similarly, loads booked in the dispatching module are instantly reflected in the accounts receivable component of the financial manager.
